警方周四表示，上周在皇后区的一个地铁站台上，一名陌生人殴打了一名37岁的男子。

警方称，周五凌晨3点30分左右，受害者在牙买加山希尔赛德大道附近的第169街站等待一列向北行驶的F线列车，一名男子开始与他争吵。

警察说，当不认识受害者的袭击者朝他脸上打了两拳时，言语冲突变成了肢体冲突。

警方称，受害人口腔受轻伤，并拒绝在现场接受治疗。

纽约警察局发布的视频显示，这名嫌疑人——留着短辫，留着胡子，一身黑衣，拿着一把白色雨伞——站在站台上。

截至周四，他仍在逃。
